Potatoes cooked in pots it turns out very gentle. Unfortunately, modern housewives do not have the opportunity to cook in a Russian stove, as our grandmothers did. Pots make it possible to cook food as our ancestors cooked it.

Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into arbitrary pieces. For the dish they use hard cheese. It is crushed into large chips.

Prepared potatoes spread in a pot, add meat, mushrooms, vegetables or fish to it. Salted and seasoned with spices. Pour potatoes with any broth, cream, egg-milk mixture or sour cream. Pots put in a cold oven, turn it on 180 C and leave until the ingredients are fully cooked.

Pots with the finished dish are taken out, sprinkled with cheese chips and sent to the oven for another five minutes.

To experiment with the taste of the dish, to the potato can add spices, vegetables, legumes and other products. Before serving, sprinkle the dish with finely chopped greens.

2. Remove the husk from the onion and chop it with quarter rings.

3. Peel the carrots, wash them and cut them into circles. Rinse the tomato, wipe with a napkin and cut into circles. Peel the potatoes, rinse well and with tiny cubes. Pepper, cut the tail and clean the seeds. We cut it into small pieces.

4. We arrange the prepared ingredients in pots in this order:

- pieces of meat;

- circles of carrots;

- potato;

- bell pepper.

Salt each layer and season with pepper. Spread tomato slices on top and sprinkle with cheese chips.

5. Pour into the pots a third of a glass of boiled water, cover with lids and put in the oven for forty minutes. We bake at a temperature of 180 C. We take out the pots, put them on a stand and leave for a quarter of an hour. Serve directly in pots, sprinkled with chopped herbs.

Recipe 2. Potatoes in pots with cheese and mushrooms

Ingredients

potato - kg;

hard cheese - 100 g;

onion head;

table salt and black pepper;

champignons - 300 g;

nutmeg, coriander and ginger;

a glass of 10% cream.

Cooking method

1. Peel the potatoes. We wash it well and cut into circles.

2. Peel the onion from the husk, rinse and chop with thin feathers.

3. Remove the thin film from the mushroom caps. Wipe the mushrooms with a damp cloth. We cut each fungus in half, divide large ones into four parts.

4. Put the ingredients in clean pots in layers:

Ingredients

kilogram of potatoes;

80 ml of olive oil;

100 g Cheddar cheese;

bulb;

200 ml cream;

3 cloves of garlic;

300 g of bacon.

Cooking method

1. Peel, wash and chop thin slices of potatoes.

2. Slices of garlic and onion, peel and chop finely. Cut the bacon into small slices.

Ingredients

six large potatoes;

butter;

ground black pepper;

two eggs;

finely ground salt;

250 g of cheese;

large onion.

Cooking method

1. Remove the peel from the potatoes, wash, boil and mash in mashed potatoes. Add a slice of butter and lightly beaten eggs. Peel the onion, rinse and chop finely. Cut the cheese into small cubes as well. Salt and pepper the mashed potatoes. Add cheese cubes, onions and mix.

2. Put pieces of butter on the bottom of the pots. Put mashed potatoes in pots. Do not fill them with potatoes to the top, because it will rise in the cooking process.

3. Put the pots in the oven. Turn it on 180 C. Bake potatoes for half an hour.

Recipe 5. Potatoes in pots with cheese and garlic

Ingredients

eight potatoes;

three pinches of ground pepper;

150 g of cheese;

6 g of salt;

a glass of milk;

30 g of fresh herbs;

garlic - 2 cloves.

Cooking method

1. Peel and wash the potatoes well. Chop the vegetable into small cubes.

2. Grind the cheese into large chips.

3. Sort greens, rinse, dry slightly and crumble finely. You can take any greens. It can be green onions, parsley or dill.

4. Peel and chop the garlic cloves into small pieces.

5. Put some potatoes in the pots. Sprinkle it with cheese, garlic and herbs. Put the potatoes again. Fill the pots, alternating potatoes with cheese.

6. Pour the contents of milk and sprinkle with cheese chips. Close the pots with lids and send them to the oven for about forty minutes. Set the temperature to 180 C. Ten minutes before the end of cooking, remove the lids from the pots so that a golden crust forms on top.

Recipe 6. Potatoes in pots with cheese "Christmas traditions"

Ingredients

800 g pork tenderloin;

sunflower oil;

two zucchini;

ground black pepper;

three tomatoes;

kitchen salt;

three cloves of garlic;

12 peas of allspice;

150 g of Dutch cheese;

6 bay leaves.

Cooking method

1. Rinse the pork tenderloin, cut the films, excess fat and soak in a disposable towel. Cut the meat into slices three centimeters thick.

2. Place the pan on the stove, pour oil into it and heat it well. Put the pork in the heated oil and lightly fry.

3. Peel and wash the potatoes. Cut it into two centimeter slices.

4. Peel, rinse and chop the zucchini in the same way as the potatoes.

5. Peel the garlic cloves and chop finely.

Ingredients

potato - half a kilogram;

common salt;

ham - 200 g;

black pepper;

Dutch cheese - 200 g;

butter - 50 g;

eggs - two pcs.

1. Peel potatoes and wash well. Put the vegetable in a pan, pour with drinking water and boil until soft. Drain the finished potato water. Make mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

four large potato tubers;

100 ml of sunflower oil;

young zucchini;

kitchen salt;

four tomatoes;

seasonings;

100 ml of drinking water;

large onion;

200 ml of sour cream;

300 g of cream cheese;

200 ml of mayonnaise.

Cooking method

1. In a cup, mix mayonnaise and sour cream with water. Season the sauce with spices, salt and mix everything until smooth.

2. Zucchini and potatoes, peel, wash and cut into thin circles. Sauté the vegetables until cooked separately.

3. Peel, rinse and finely chop the onion. Put chopped onion in a preheated pan with butter and fry until soft. Rinse the tomato, wipe and chop finely. Put the tomato in the onion and fry, stirring constantly, for another five minutes. Cheese coarsely.

4. Lay the vegetables in pots in layers in the following order:

- fried potatoes;

- tomato and onion frying;

- fried zucchini.

Pour the contents of the pots with sauce and sprinkle with cheese chips on top.

5. Put potatoes in the oven. Cook for half an hour, covered with lids, at a temperature of 180 C. Serve as an independent dish or as a side dish for fish or meat.

Cheese potatoes - chef tips and tricks

  • Do not fill the pot to the top so that boiling liquid does not leak.

  • Reduce the amount of water if you put juicy vegetables to the potato.

  • Do not cook at too high a temperature, otherwise the sauce will boil quickly and the potatoes will start to burn.

  • If you add pork or beef to potatoes, you must first fry it. Put chicken meat raw.

  • You can’t peel the young potatoes, just wash them well with a brush.
