Many simple toys for a child can not be bought, but made with your own hands. For example, a spinner rotating from the force of the wind can be easily made by everyone if you carefully read our master class.
To create such a turntable, we will prepare:
- a square of thick paper measuring 15x15 cm (we used paper for scrapbooking);
- a pencil with an eraser on the end (for the base of our turntable);
- scissors;
- a ruler;
- a simple pencil;
- a thin pin with a hat.
The paper we use has 2 different sides, the second of which is white. On it we will do all the necessary markup. First, draw the diagonal lines with a simple pencil.
After that, from the center of their intersections it is required to postpone 3 cm in all 4 directions (diagonally).
In these places we put marks, these will be the places to which you want to cut.
Now you can use scissors and cut strictly according to the intended diagonals, not reaching 3 cm to the center of the square. After that, one edge of each of the four resulting elements can be slightly bent onto itself.
With the help of a thin sewing pin, we will collect our pinwheel. First, we outline the middle of our crafts on the front side.
After that, the pin should be bent as follows. This stage should only be performed by an adult. If the pin is relatively soft, then it is easy to bend it with your hands. Otherwise, you will have to use pliers.
Now, from the front side to this pin, we begin to alternately collect the corners of all four elements.
After that, insert the tip of the pin into the eraser on the pencil.
